In regards to Lloyd Green's article Rand Paul's NYPD Shooting Blowback
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/12/22/the-biggest-loser-in-nypd-shooting-fallout-rand-paul.html

No matter where one stands on the Eric Garner, Michael Brown cases, the militarization of the police as well as the racial disparity of arrests should not be a partisan issue.  Two-thirds disagree with President Obama’s reaction to the Ferguson and New York City decisions?  What a surprise.  These days the Old Whig Republicans are more interested in rebuking Obama than actually being right.  And in regards to your "seven-in-[10] Republicans believe that the police treat blacks and whites equally", lets just say Republicans are not always factually correct: http://ago.mo.gov/VehicleStops/2013/reports/161.pdf.  Its no secret that Senator Paul has never been the most calculated, but I think even he knows that this is not a politically advantageous issue for him to stick his neck out for.  Seems to me that you are trying to count Rand Paul out before the process has even started...  Why aren't you writing articles about the inevitable failed campaigns of John Bolton, Michelle Bachmann, etc. (Super Tuesday is not looking great for them either.)  I applaud Rand Paul for speaking up on an issue where there's not an easy answer.
